An Ejigbo Magistrate Court has condemned one Emmanuel Ikrangubek to two years detainment with hard work for seizing a two-year-old kid, Yusuf Badru, at his folks’ home at 141 LASU isheri street, Igando, Lagos.
The Prosecutor, ASP Kenneth Asibor, portrayed that the infant was playing in the compound on Friday, August 2, 2019, at about 2:0’clock while the suspect strolled in and conveyed the child, thinking no one saw him.
“Tragically for him, the child’s senior sibling who was likewise playing inside the premises saw him and alarmed the security watch who was in the can.
“Both of them tested the presumed hijacker, took the kid from him and secured him.
“He was later given to the police who, after examination, charged him to court.”
In the interim, having consented to be blameworthy of the one check charge, Ikrangubek was on Thursday condemned to two years detainment with hard work by the directing Magistrate, Mr. Teslim Shomade.
