Company surprises it's 198 staff with $10m in Christmas bonus allowance at end of year party

A Real Estate company in Maryland, U.S, St John Properties, surprised all 198 of it’s employees as it handed bonus cheques totalling $10 million during it’s end of year party on Saturday. Nigerian government allegedly freezes Sahara Reporters bank account

The Nigerian government has been accused of allegedly freezing the bank accounts of  Sahara Reporters, a news website owned by rearrested #RevolutionNow convener Omoyele Sowore.  Asides allegedly freezing the bank account without an advance notice in October and significantly hindering their operations, it was further alleged that the website was separately disabled twice due to allegations of copyright infringement, and its staff reported cyberattacks

Rivers State University final year law student allegedly stabbed to death

Matilda Itonyo Mark, a final year Law student of Rivers State University was allegedly stabbed to death in the early hours of Tuesday December 10.  The 24-year-old student was reportedly found lying in the pool of her blood after allegedly being stabbed inside her room at main gate in Port Harcourt. It is also suspected that she was allegedly raped by her assailants.
